Emma Ford- My Visit To India
Last year I went to Indian with three other young women named Sarah, Clarie and Amy. The purpose of our trip was to visit two different orphans in India that the charity- Lighthouse international ministries support. through these visits we hoped to identify the needs of the children and look towards funding that could cater for these needs.
We first visited Tamil nanu and then Goa. it was an awesome experience, meeting all the children made me appreciate how well off we have things in England. Although the children did not have much, they were content. it makes you realise the important things in life.
It was lots of fun spending time with the children and having the opportunity to meet new people whom have dedicated their lives to caring for the orphans. Claire, Sarah and Amy were great people to go away with and I know that God had changed my life through this experience.
There were tones of things that I did whilst away, I visited the area that the tsunami effected and also went to the leprosy communities. It an awesome experience and I know that God was with me all the way.
